- ½ cup coconut oil [1]
- ½ cup raw unfiltered cider vinegar [2] or coconut water vinegar [3]
- 8 oz tomato sauce [4]
- 2 tablespoons chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt [5]
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard [6]
- ¼ teaspoon celery seed
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder [6]
- ½ teaspoon sage [6] or poultry seasoning [7]
- 1 tablespoon raw honey [8]
Combine all ingredients in cooking pot. Bring to boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil one minute. Lower temperature and simmer for 20-30 minutes uncovered. Strain out onion bits if desired.
Store in refrigerator for up to 10 weeks.
Note: Seasonings can be adjusted to taste.
